Cant beat this one

I just cant think of a reason not to get this. It makes everything about planning, packing, traveling and returning painless and worry free.

I like the way the creator offers updates and so far they have all been free. Lots of new features in the past 2 years.

I use it on my iPhone and I can now bring my lists into my computer as a csv file and use the keyboard to make multiple edits easier than scrolling through my iphone screen. Each item of luggage can be represented by a customized icon and words.

Each item you need to bring can be searched for, added, tweaked and can be entered individually (like one medication) or by adding a customized list (like all medications).

And it offers notifications such as being able to set up a reminder to order needed medications 2 weeks before leaving. Or buy something.

I especially enjoy the feature of timed checklists. I set up three checklists. One covers things to do 1 week before I leave (confirm and gather documents). Another is for 24 hrs before leaving (reminds me to plug in all devices to fully charge, etc) and the last checklist is for 3 hours before leaving (reminds me to fill pet bowls, adjust thermostat, etc).

I am single but families will appreciate the ability to add a list of names and then assign different luggage items to each name packed with items for that person. In my case I can pack pet luggage with items for each pet when they travel with me!

This is one powerful app!!

My 2014 review:

Main problem was the learning curve. I did not "grow with the app" from early stages. I got it in summer of 2014 and it is very detailed- a ton of options for personal tweaking.

The app has good help and support but still took me a few months and about 3 trips to understand the nuances because of it has so many features.

Once I got my templates figured out and tailored the rest was a breeze. Now it takes me just a few minutes to create my travel details for each trip.

Whether overnight business, romantic get-away, two week family visit or prolonged monthly rental, its so nice to never worry about forgetting to prepare the house for pet sitters or forgetting to bring something.

This app is a real winner for me!!
